Ann Damis

Ann E. Damis, 100, of Wintersville, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Valley Hospice.
She was born October 1, 1916 in Langeloth, PA. She is the daughter of the late George and Alice Barakis Boller. Also preceding her in death were her husband, Nicholas J. Damis; son, John Damis; brother, Mike Damis; four sisters, Catherine, Mary, Georgia, Helen; and her beloved dog, Snoopy. 
She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. She was the owner and operator of the former Annás Donut Shop, Wintersville.  
Surviving are one son, Nick (Jodi) Damis of Wintersville, with whom she resided; one sister, Angeline Mullen of Irwin, PA; four grandchildren, April, John, Christopher, Nick; and six great- grandchildren. 
Calling hours will be held Friday from 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, where services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Fr. Nick Halkias will officiate. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
