Benjamin L. Eddy

Benjamin L. Eddy, 90, of Mingo Jct. Died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at his home. He was born July 30, 1926 in Mingo Jct. He is the son of the late Orville and Clara Arbaugh Eddy. Also preceding him in death are his wife Joyce McCann Eddy and first wife Lyda Eddy; four brothers John, Thomas, Robert and Charles Eddy; two sisters Ann Mae Shuman and Grace Morris.

Benjamin was retired from the Jefferson County Hwy Dept where he was a truck driver. He served his country in the Army during WWII and was protestant by faith.

Surviving are three stepsons Edward Essig, William Droddy and James Nile; one stepdaughter Kelly Quinn of Mingo Jct.; one sister Mary Alice Land of Florida; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Monday from 1pm until time of services at 3 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Rev. Sam Davis will officiate. Burial will be private in Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
