Betty M. Gillespie

Betty M. Gillespie 87, of Steubenville (Pleasant Hill) passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017. She was in the care of Charity Hospice at Dixon's Nursing Home. 

She was born April 21, 1929 in Annapolis. She is the daughter of the late B. Frank and Beryl (Beltz) Myers. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J. Gillespie, who passed away in 2005.

She is survived by her 3 children: Michael, Jeanne Kosegi (Louie), Louise Bateman (Jim);siblings: Thelma Cathers, Ida Porter, and Frank Myers 6 grandchildren Christine, Betty, Jesse, Shayne, Jennifer, Louie, and 5 great-grandchildren. 

Betty was a loving and devoted wife and mother in raising her family and taking great care of her grandkids. She was an avid reader and greatly enjoyed the company of her family and friends. 

Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel and on Monday 10:00 am until the time of services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Ft. Steuben Burial Estates.
