Carolyn S. (DiMarzio) Perito

Carolyn S. Perito, 82, of Wintersville, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 10, 1935 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late William and Mary Coppa DiMarzio. Carolyn is also preceded in death by her husband, John N. Perito; her daughter, Marcia; and her sister, Grace Blum.

Carolyn was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, and was employed at Franciscan University.

Surviving are her two daughters, Melissa (William) Davis and Mary Jo (Joseph) DiPietro, both of Wintersville; one brother, William (Rita) DiMarzio of Wintersville; and one sister, Geri Dagan of Camarillo, CA; three grandchildren, Mihaela, Gabriela, and Dustin.

Carolyn was an avid card player and loved to bake for her family and friends.

Calling hours are Wednesday 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel. 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
