Deborah Rankin Vandeborne

Deborah Rankin Vandeborne, 67, of Steubenville died Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at UPMC Mercy. She was born March 3, 1951 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Nicholas and Justine Sellaroli Karnick.

Deborah was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1969 and recently retired from Goodwill Industries, Workforce Development.

Deborah was a loving and caring person, who loved everyone around her. She had the ability to light up the room just by entering. She treated everyone she met with the love of her own family. She enjoyed reading, discussing politics, and as we all know, liking and commenting on everyone’s facebook page. She will be severely missed by all.

Deborah is survived by her son Ryan (Fiancée Laura Warner) Rankin of Columbus; former mother in law Jean Rankin of Steubenville who she loved as her own mother; her companion, George Sarap of Steubeville; and one brother Steven Karnick of Steubenville.

Calling hours will be Saturday March 10th, from 1-4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.

Memorial donations may be made to the Jefferson County Humane Society, 200 Airpark Dr., Wintersville, OH 43953 or to Mosti Funeral Home to help offset the cost of funeral arrangements.
