Dominic J. DeLaurentis

Dominic "Mimi" J. DeLaurentis, 94, of Wintersville died Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Ann's Country Retreat. He was born March 28, 1923 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Joseph and Marianne Lucian DeLaurentis. Also preceding him in death are his wife Helen Marie Crisorio DeLaurentis; two brothers Joseph Pompa, Vincent DeLaurentis and one sister Mary Louise Boggia.

Dominic was retired from Wheeling Pitt Steel where he was an electrician. He was a member of the Steel Workers Union, Elk's Club and the Moose. Dominic was an avid person of fitness and belonged to Rocky Road Gym for many years. He also served his country in the Army during WWII. 

Surviving are one daughter Sheila DeLaurentis of Steubenville; one sister Betty (Darius "Doc") Rogers of Toronto; two grandchildren Stephen B. Diomedi II and Geena M. Diomedi.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10 am, Msgr. Gerald Calovini will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
