Donna K. Kaine

Donna K. Kaine, 77, of Steubenville died Wednesday, January 24, 2018,at her home. She was born April 13, 1940,in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Lester and Ruth Bell Danver. Donna is also preceded in death by her two daughters Robin Humes and April Fleder; granddaughter Nicole Fleder; first husband Richard Humes and brother Jake Danver.

Donna was the former manager for the Creegan Company Christmas Corner. She was an active member of Triumph of the Cross parish, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Catholic Women's Club. Donna loved Decorating the church for Christmas and organizing dinners for the CWC.

Surviving are her husband Ronald Kaine, whom she married September 15, 1972; one son Ronald (Stacey) Kaine of Steubenville; two daughters Carol Kaine of Steubenville and Sharon (Jay) LaRoche of Bellaire, OH; son-in-law Sam Fleder of Steubenville; sister Velma Thompson of Steubenville; grandchildren Jayme Kaine, Dustin Kaine, Veronica Kaine and Alexandra Kaine, Jayson (Francine) LaRoche, Jocelyn (Terry) Daniel, and Chelsea LaRoche. Three great-granddaughters. 

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at Noon at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Nau will be the celebrant.  Entombment will follow in Union Cemetery. A vigil service will be Friday at 7:45 pm.
