Dorothy J. DiNicola

Dorothy J. DiNicola, 85, of New Philadelphia, OH formerly of Steubenville,OH, died peacefully Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Hennis Care Centre of Dover, OH. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Samber Haritos. Dorothy was born July 10, 1931 in Weirton, WV. She worked as a clerk at Weirton Steel where she met and married the late Michael B. DiNicola. She was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother who deeply loved her family and friends. Her greatest joy was celebrating in the accomplishments and achievements of her family, especially her three grandchildren. She attended Blessed Sacrament Church in Winterville, and St. Joseph’s Church of Dover. She is survived by her son, Michael C. (Cherie) DiNicola of Chagrin Falls, OH. A daughter, Andrea (Christopher) Delatore of New Philadelphia, Her three grandchildren, Graham DiNicola of Seattle,WA , Joseph and Krista Delatore of New Philadelphia, Her sister Margaret (George) Mollis of Westminster, CA. Nephews, Ronald Mollis and Charles Mollis of CA. Her dearest friends, Ned and Mary Filler of Steubenville, and Walter and Helen (deceased) Larch of Weirton. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be Monday 9:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church, Fr. Michael Gossett, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Sunday at 2 pm. Dorothy and her family extend a special gratitude to all of the staff and caregivers at Hennis Care Centre.
