Dorothy Hanlin Obituary

March 19, 2018 angels escorted our 89 year old mother to Heaven.  Eagerly awaiting her there are her parents, Reverend Howard and Velma Butler Morris.  Also welcoming her home are her siblings, Harold and Eugene Morris, Thelma Morris, Fern Reighard and Faye Andrews. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Hanlin. 
Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Lenore McConnaughy of Alexandria, Louisiana, Adele (Dee) McConnaughy Glenny  Perrine (Dennis) of Dellroy, Jacqueline Hanlin Lee of Toronto and stepchildren, Margaret (Cissy) Hanlin Sapp of Steubenville and  Glenn Hanlin, Jr. (Barb) of Mingo Junction.  Also missing her will be one granddaughter, Brittany Lee Still (Cody), and two grandsons George (Chip) Glenny (Cheryl) and Brock Glenny, four great-grandsons, and several step-grandchildren. Her sister-in-law, Ruth Grimm Morris, will miss her along with several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Graveside services celebrating the life of Dorothy Morris Hanlin will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at Highland Hills Memorial Garden, Follansbee, WV under the direction of Mosti Funeral Home in the Overlook Chapel of Peace with the Reverend John Kotsanos officiating.
Dorothy was a devout Christian. She loved to sew and made many quilts and crafts. She was a devoted caregiver to her family.
The family would like to extend special appreciation to Carroll Healthcare Center and to Tim and Rich Reighard for their love and support of our mother.
