Elizabeh Howcroft

Elizabeth Howcroft, 91, of Toronto died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at UPMC Mercy Hospital. 
She was born March 7, 1926, in Piney Fork, OH. She is the daughter of the late Alexander and Hanna Bradford Smith. 
Also preceding her in death are her husband, William Howcroft; sister, Nan Veronica; four brothers, James, Alexander, Adam and Hugh Smith; and sister-in-law, Carol Smith.
Surviving are three daughters, Linda Howcroft of Toronto, Elizabeth Smusz of Mesa, AZ, and Sharon (Daniel Sr.) Thorne of Steubenville; sister-in-law, Jean Smith; four grandchildren, Josh Smusz, Michael Howcroft, Daniel Thorne, Jr. and Sharena Thorne; and two great-grandchildren, Andrew and Dominic Thorne. 
Private services were held Thursday at the Mosti Funeral Home. Burial followed in Union Cemetery.
