Frank A. Berardi

Frank A. Berardi, 86, of Steubenville died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at Life Line Hospital. He was born April 16, 1931 in Akron. He is the son of the late Ralph and Eleanor Nuosce Berardi. Also preceding him in death is one sister Jean Dobrin.

Frank was a catholic and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. 

Surviving are his wife Dorothy Bennington Berardi, whom he married July 7, 1953; three sons Dave (Donna) Berardi of Wintersville, Ralph (Kim) Berardi of Steubenville and Joe (Teri) Berardi of Worthington, OH; two daughters Joni (Kent) Williams of Mentor, and Nancy (Pat) Gibson of Wintersville; one brother Richard (Joyce) Berardi of Akron; eight grandchildren Dom, Derek, Rachel, Brianna, Anthony, Frankie, Mikey and Johnny; two great grandchildren Dante, Daniel and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank was the former owner and operator of, Chez Frankie, The Peachtree, National Vending, and the Gas Lite Restaurant.

Frank was a member of the former St. Anthony Catholic Church and was a Steubenville Country Club member for 40 years.

Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home, Msgr. Gerald Calovini will officiate. Entombment will be private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
