Frederick Anthony "Freddie" DeLelles, 74, of Wintersville, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at his home.
He was born August 14, 1942 in Steubenville, the son of the late Ronald and Margaret Orsini Hufnagel.
Freddie was a loving Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle and a great friend to many. He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School, class of 1960, and retired from Ohio Edison Company. Freddie was an avid golfer and played many of the major courses across the U.S. He will be remembered for his love of the game of golf, rooting for his favorite sports teams; The Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins, The Ohio State Buckeyes, and for his lifelong passion for music. Freddie will always be remembered for his youthful spirit, his great sense of humor and his love for life.
Freddie is survived by one son Timothy (Carol) DeLelles of Newark, OH; one daughter Michelle DeLelles Brown of Lancaster, OH; Sister Jill (Mac) Zeiter of Las Vegas, NV; half brothers Greg (Sheila) DeLelles of New Mexico; Alan (Patti) DeLelles of Arizona; Sister-in-Law Bette DeLelles of Steubenville; three grandchildren Cody, Cierra and Bayleigh Brown and two great grandchildren Brileigh and Liam; Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many close friends.
Freddie was preceded in death by his parents; one brother William "Bill" DeLelles; and biological father Dominic DeLelles.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, November 9, from 4 pm until time of services at 6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Fr, Michael Gossett will officiate. Burial will be private.
