Gloria Jean Stegner

Gloria Jean Stegner, 74, of Steubenville died Friday July 22, 2016 at Valley Hospice. She was born June 6, 1942 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Steve and Elizabeth English Anticole. Also preceding her in death are one brother Albert Anticole and niece Cheryl Marker.

She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic  Church. Gloria worked at the former Marlin's Shoe Store in Downtown Steubenville.

Surviving are her husband Fred Stegner, whom she married September 25, 1965, one son Fred (Tonya) Stegner of Cisco, TX; three daughters Natalie Stegner of Wheeling, Dawn (Chris) Takach of Steubenville and Dyanna Stegner of Steubenville; one brother Steve Anticole of Columbus; two sisters Mary Ann (Rich) Giovannone of Steubenville and Elaine (Mark) Minnick of Mingo Jct.; three grandchildren Steven, Lexi, Alyssa and one sister-in-law Annette Anticole of Steubenville.

Gloria was an avid QVC shopper and also loved cooking and canning.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday 10:00 am at Holy Rosary Church, Fr. Ryan Gray will be the celebrant and Fr. Jack McCoy, con celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
