James "Crack" MacGregor

James "Crack" MacGregor, 70, of Wintersville, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Trinity West. 
He was born October 23, 1945 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Vernon and Ruth V. Garwood  MacGregor.
James was retired from Weirton Steel where he worked in the Tin Mill. He was a graduate of Wintersville High School class of 1963.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Ravasio MacGregor, whom he married June 12, 1971; one daughter, Jamie Chappano  of Cincinnati; one son, Mark (Mary Bailey) MacGregor of Cincinnati; one brother, Vernon (Joanne) MacGregor of Charlotte, NC; two grand children, Dominic and Gia Chappano.
James was an avid golfer and bowler. 
Calling hours will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
