James C. Reed

James C. Reed 91 of Mingo Jct. Died Wednesday February 15, 2017 at Valley Hospice. He was born November 19, 1925 in Unionport, OH. He is the son of the late Benjamin and Charlotte Huff Reed, James is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Briggs Reed, three brothers, Merle, Charles, and Willard Hooper, three sisters, Rhoene Search, Vera Reed, and Margaret Brobston, and his step mother, Veda Reed.

James was a foreman for the Penn-Central Railroad until his retirement and served his country in the US Army during WWII.

Surviving are many beloved nieces and nephews.
