John T. "Jack" Gilmore

John T. "Jack" Gilmore, 77, of Steubenville died Friday, February 10, 2017 at West Penn Hospital. 
He was born May 16, 1939 in Steubenville.
 He is the son of the late James J. Sr. and Agnes K. Scanlon Gilmore. 
John was retired from Weirton Steel where he was Vice President of Engineering also from Jefferson County Water and Sewer Engineering.
John served as a chairman on the Board of JCC for 15 years. He was also a member of Steubenville Kiwanis Club. 
Surviving are three daughters Amy (Greg) Martien of Longmont, CO, Elizabeth Griffith of Winter Park, FL and Meg (Kurt) Smith of Tiffin, OH; three brothers James (Judie), Daniel and Edward all of Steubenville; sister Mary Ann Shanley of Steubenville; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 
Calling hours will be Friday from 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Chapel, Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Saturday 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, Fr. Tom Nau will officiate.
