Joseph E. Mort Jr.

Joseph E. Mort Jr., 64, of Follansbee died Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at his home. He was born November 9, 1953 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Joseph "Bud" Sr. and Wilma Jones Mort.

Joseph was retired from Weirton Steel, where he worked in the Strip Steel Dept. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1972.

Surviving are two daughters, Adrianna (Greg) Kruse, of Columbus, and Angela (Steve) Kostraba, of Cleveland; three brothers, Tom "Teek" (Sue) Mort, of Steubenville, James Mort, of Steubenville, and Timothy (Stacey) Mort of Steubenville; one sister, Muriel (Domenick) Tonacchio of Weirton; and four grandchildren, Sam, Sophia, Nathan and Brenden.

Memorial viewing will be held Tuesday from 10 am until time of services at 11 am at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family requests that memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help offset the cost of funeral arrangements.
