Judy Chadnock

Judith A. (Butcher) Chadnock, 81, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Sienna Woods.
She was born June 7, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio. 
She is the daughter of the late Paul Butcher and the late Helen (Varian) Butcher. She also was preceded in death by her husband, John Chadnock.
She was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church and its Catholic Womenás Club.
Judi was a retired elementary school teacher at the former Buena Vista, Roosevelt, Harding, Lincoln, and Wells schools. She was the former owner and operator of Jon-Ton Ice Cream Shop and was an avid bridge player.
Surviving are two sisters: Paula Leasure of Steubenville, Ohio and Rebecca (Leo) Domanico of Villa Hills, Kentucky.  Nieces: Stephanie (Domanico) Torrens, Natalie Domanico, Jill (Leasure) Higgins and Valarie (Domanico) Merrill-Cooke; Nephews: Kevin Leasure, Troy Leasure, Randy Leasure, Todd Leasure, Robert (Bob) Leasure and many great- nieces and great-nephews.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 6  - 8 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville, Ohio. A vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Father Tom Nau will officiate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
