Kathleen (Spence) Tucker

Kathleen (Spence) Tucker, 75, of Monroe, OH, formerly of Steubenville died Saturday, March 17, 2018 in West Chester, Ohio.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents George and Helen (Salancy) Spence, and her former husband Jerry Tucker. A 1960 graduate of Catholic Central High School in Steubenville, Kathy worked for the Steubenville Register and Ohio Bell, before retiring from Jefferson County Job & Family Services. Kathy was a talented writer and songwriter, and enjoyed sharing these talents with family and friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a loving and caring nature, and easily connected with others. In her later years, Kathy enjoyed living with and traveling with her daughter and family.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Kristen (Brian) Taylor, granddaughter Erin Burrier, and grandsons Brayden and Christopher Taylor, of Monroe, Ohio, sisters Margaret (Peggy) Keeder of Mingo Jct., Susan (JT) Telvock of Follansbee,, and Donna Zorne of Wintersville, and many beloved family and friends.
Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant. There will be a vigil service 3:45 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
