LuAnn Myers Sholtis

LuAnn Myers Sholtis, 81, of Steubenville died Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born December 10, 1935 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Leland and Gladys Elliott Myers, LuAnn is also preceded in death by her husband; Robert, and brothers, Leland, Jr. and James “Buzz” Myers. LuAnn was a homemaker, a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, where she was very active, having various duties there. She was also past superintendent of the church school. Surviving are her daughters, Sherry Battilochi of Steubenville and Johnna Sholtis of Valley Grove, WV. One brother, John (Mary Ellen) Myers of Unionport, OH. One grandson, Rob Battilochi of Eureka, CA. Her canine companion and best friend, Willy, and several nieces and nephews. LuAnn was a member and volunteer at the Jefferson County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society, Historic Fort Steuben, Jefferson County Historical Association, and the Jefferson County Humane Society.
