Mary A. Gampolo

Mary A. Gampolo, 90 of Steubenville died Thursday January 4, 2018 at Valley Hospice. She was born June 15, 1927 in Follansbee. She  is the daughter of the late Francesco and Margharita Tecca Martino. Mary is also preceded in death by her three brothers, Carlo, Giuseppe, and Phillip, her four sisters, Elizabetta, Rosina, Pierrie, and Santina.

Mary was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was retired from the former Hub department store.

Surviving are husband, Ernest P. Gampolo, SR. whom she married June 14, 1947, one son Ernest P. Gampolo. JR ( Companion, Carolyn Gampolo),  two daughters, JoAnn  Perrone (companion, Eddie Perrone) of Steubenville and Donna (Kent) Kidder of Follansbee. One brother, Frank (Vi) Martino  of Wellsburg. Eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Calling hours are Tuesday 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service at 4:45 pm
