MaryAnn S. Donnelly

MaryAnn S. Donnelly, 61, of Steubenville died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at her home. 
She was born September 26, 1955 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Arlene Mack Smogor. 
MaryAnn was a member of Triumph of the Cross Church. She was the Executive Director of the Caring Place and was retired from the Jefferson County Children Services where she was a licensed social worker. MaryAnn was a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1973 and The College of Steubenville.  
Surviving are her husband Robert Donnelly, whom she married May 31, 1985; one son RJ Donnelly of Steubenville; three brothers Robert Somgor of Pittsburgh, John (Mary) Smogor of Orlando, FL and Casmir (Brandi) Smogor of Steubenville; three sisters Susan (William) Boehke of Wintersville, Ellen Smogor, Fran Smogor both of Steubenville and many nieces and nephews. 
MaryAnn was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, was active in the United Way and Salvation Army and had the attitude of "whatever it takes". 
Calling hours will be Thursday from 3-7 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Burial will be private in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Thursday at 6:45 p.m.
