Michalina "Lina" Carducci

Michalenia M. "Lina" Carducci, 88, of Steubenville died Saturday November 18, 2017 at home. She was born November 5, 1929 in Pratola, Pelinga, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Gaetano and Emilia Rosati Carducci, Lina is also preceded in death by her husband, Domenico Carducci, daughter, Anna Maria Carducci Sergent, and a brother, Donato "Danny" Carducci. Lina was a member of Triumph of the Cross Catholic Church, and was retired from the former Ohio Valley Hospital, cafeteria. Surviving are her son Frank (Carolyn) Carducci of Steubenville, two brothers, Aldino (Anna) Carducci, Antonio (Nazarena) Carducci, two sisters, Rita Zavarella and Elsa Sforza all of Connecticut. Four grand children, Domenic Carducci, Valerie (Jeremy) McFarland, Theresa Carducci and Frank Carducci. Four great grandchildren, Emma, Madelyn, Vincent, and Amelia. Also many nieces and nephews. Lina loved cooking, knitting, and being with her family. Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will celebrated 10 am Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Nau, celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
