Nino (Terry) Camerlengo died Wednesday May 3, 2017 at Trinity Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.

Nino was born June 7, 1923 in Steubenville to the late Leontine and Amalia Camerlengo of Italy. He was preceded in death by his wife and "Love of his Life" Adela (Ida) Camerlengo (Controguerra) and his sister Dorthy Mastrioanni, (husband Guido).

He is survived by his three sons, Leon, (wife Kathleen Garvey), Terry (wife Ellen Nixon), and Robert. He is also survived by his daughter MaryAnn, (husband Mohmoud Nourzi), and his sister, Gilda Spremulli.

He was known by his four loving grandchildren, Joseph Camerlengo, Nicholas Camerlengo MD, Gena (Camerlengo) Baillis, (husband Bryan Baillis MD), and Neda Norouzi, as “Tatone.” He had one great grandchild, Ezra Baillis.

Nino was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, and worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel as a crane operator for 40 years. He also worked as a dealer in Las Vegas in his younger years prior to his marriage. Nino served proudly in the infantry in the United States Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and on his 21st birthday fought in the D-Day invasion in Normandy. Nino lived comfortably and independently in his own home until his passing.

A vigil service for family and friends will be held at 3:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville on Friday, May, 19th.
