Ronald S. Sferra

Ronald S. Sferra, 80, of Steubenville, died Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Trinity West. He was born July 16, 1935 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Stephen and Emily Trusillo Sferra. Ronald was also preceded in death by his son, Stephen Sferra and one sister, Marion Sferra. Ronald was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he was a mill wright and served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Surviving are his wife Helen L. Perkins Sferra whom he married June 1, 1957, two daughters Susan (Frank) Vallera of Marietta, OH, and Cynthia (Daniel) DeWulf of Powell, OH, six grand children, Tricia, Philip, Rebecca, Anthony, Jessica, and Alexis and three great grand children Scarlett, Grayson, and Ethan. Calling hours are Saturday 10:30am until the time of service at 1 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Entombment will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
