Welcome to the memorial page for

Ronald Vallera

June 11, 1953 ~ May 3, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years Old

Ron Vallera exited this world on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in the comfort of his family home outside of Columbus. He was born June 11, 1953, in Steubenville, son of Orlando Vallera  of Steubenville and the late Mary Bianco Vallera. While known and respected as a tireless and experienced accountant. Ron was foremost a musician, creator, humorist, and relentless family man. He lived an exuberant and special life, filled with countless friends and admirers, who were drawn to his jokes, love of people, and being the conductor of the party, no matter how big or small. He most enjoyed the freedom of aimless drives and good rock music, allowing nothing to stop him from indulging in either. However, his crowning achievement was his family of three sons, whom he built his entire life around, both personal and professional. There is no doubt his life will continue as a celebration in the thoughts and spirits of all who knew him – The Godfather.
His spirit lives on through his sons: Michael Vallera of Chicago, Stephen Vallera and wife Shawn Vallera of Chicago, and Nicholas Vallera and wife Stephanie Morrison of Columbus; sisters Marianna Paprocki and Valerie Maloney; brother Frank Vallera and ex-wife Alisa Giannamore-Vallera.
Calling hours: Sunday, 2-6pm at Mosti Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated Monday 10am at St. Peter’s Church, followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The National Kidney Foundation@kidney.org would be much appreciated – as Ron was a true example of the positive impact an organ donation can make in the lives of so many.Offer condolences,www.mostifuneralhome,com.
