Rosemary Marker 97, of Mingo Jct., died Tuesday July 12, 2016, at Brookdale Senior Living, Westerville, OH.
She was born January 20, 1919 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Frank Hush and Marie Milewsky Hush Poole.
Rosemary is also preceded in death by her first husband, Michael J. Kovalik and her second husband, William Marker, and step- father, Alvin Poole
Rosemary was a homemaker and worked at the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1942-1945.
Rosemary was a member of F.O.E women's auxiliary, was a Catholic. She is âRosie The Riveterã, a girl in a picture on display at the Dennison Ohio railroad museum. The picture was taken during WW2 when she worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Weirton, WV.
Surviving are her son, Michael D. (Angela) Kovalik of Westerville; grandchildren, Jeff (Tiffaney) Kovalik and Michelle (Nasir) Chaudri, and one granddaughter, Allison Kovalik.
Friends will be received Friday at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 10 a.m. until the committal service at 11 am. Fr. Thomas Nau will officiate and burial will follow.
