Samuel "Silk" Hays Johnson, 69 of Steubenville, died Wednesday September 14, 2016 at home.
He was born October 20, 1946 in Wheeling. He is the son of the late Samuel Hays Johnson Sr. and June Smith Johnson.
Silk was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and was a Catholic.
He is survived by one brother.
Friends are invited to a Funeral liturgy with Mass Monday 10 a.m. at St. Peters Catholic Church. Private burial at Kadish Chapel Cemetery.
