Vera Paulowski

Vera N. Paulowski, 85, of Steubenville died Thursday, September 8, 2016, at her home. She was born December 20, 1930, in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Augustine Tegano. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Frank Paulowski; two brothers, John and Joseph "Mickey" Tegano; and one infant sister, Vera. Vera was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parrish and its CWC, and she was a long time teacher at Catholic Central High School Surviving are two sons, John (Marylie) Paulowski of Canton and Greg Paulowski of Steubenville; two daughters, Ave (Michael) Carr of Pittsburgh and Mary (Thomas) Kakascik of Weirton; and seven grandchildren, Kristen, John Allan, Ezekiel, Kara, Anthony, Hannah and Korey. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Fr. Tom Nau as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
