Vincent A. DeLaurentis

Vincent A. DeLaurentis went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday August 20, 2016 in Texas, three weeks after his 95th birthday. He was born on July 30, 1921 in New York, New York to Italian immigrants Joseph and Marianna DeLaurentis who moved him to Steubenville, Ohio at a young age where he grew up. He married Velma Lorimer on Oct. 30, 1943. He served honorably in the US Army for 30 years.
Vincent’s wife Velma preceded him in death in 2004. He is survived by Shirley DeLaurentis, daughter, Corpus Christi, TX; Vincent A. DeLaurentis, Jr., son, Phoenix, Arizona; Rosemary DeLaurentis, daughter-in-law, Phoenix, Arizona; Tana DeLaurentis Arambula, granddaughter, Los Angeles, CA; Diego Arambula, grandson-in-law, Los Angeles, CA and close family friends Mary Ann Tanner and Mariam Needels, Corpus Christi, TX.
Friends are invited 10 am Saturday at the Mosti Funereal Home, Sunset Chapel for his funeral service. Rev. Tommy Mills will officiate and Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
The family has requested donations to First Baptist Church of Corpus Christi, TX , for the fund of the Glasscock Memorial Carillon and Bell Tower or the USO, in lieu of flowers.
Vince’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Cimarron Place Health & Rehabilitation for their loving care of Vince for the three years he lived with them.
