William V. Chappell

William V. Chappell Sr., 82, of Wintersville died Friday, November 24, 2017 at Sienna Woods. 
He was born November 9, 1935 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Earl and Geraldine Massey Chappell. Also preceding him in death is his wife Susanna Petrelle Chappell. 
William was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was also an active member of the Primetime Senior Center and a former member of the American Legion Post 33.
Surviving are two sons William V. Chappell Jr. of Wintersville and Richard Chappell of Hilliard, OH; one daughter Margaret Chappell of Beavercreek, OH and two grandchildren.
William proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. 
A committal service will be held noon Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
