Billy,Traci and Mary Ann and grand daughters.
I am so sorry for the loss of your dad, grandfather. He was a wonderful person and an even a better friend. In my eyes and a lot of people's eyes he was our hero.He was a man in Blue who everyday put his life on the line.He was a great friend to my dad he always looked after him at The Eagles.I am forever grateful.Coleman,Teddy Bates and I had a saying between us at bingo and it was Talk To Me Sparky.Every time I seen your dad one of us would say that.As I am writing this I can see his wonderful smile.God recieved another Angel he is at peace now with your mom.Praying for all of you just had to share with you kids.Love you all Terri

To the Coleman family, I extend my deepest heartfelt condolences. You have lost a special man, but Heaven has a new officer to walk the beat. Watch out St. Peter!!!!
As a rookie officer, on the SPD, I had the opportunity to work with Bill from time to time. I learned more from him in one week than I learned from other officers in a year. He was an SPD legend. There will never, and I mean never be another Officer Bill Coleman. It was an honor to have worked with him, and known him as a friend. His friendship was strong, and his sense of humor infectious. What a great, great man.
