I would like to express my condolences to the family.
I am the son of Helen Leist and William Reed. Helen was the only sister to Billy's father.
I remember him fondly especially when I was an apprentice with my Uncle Bill , during two University summers, when as a student at Ohio State University.
I lived and worked for many years in New York, but remarried and moved to Sweden
in 1988.

My deepest condolences to the Leist family. Bill was a good friend and one of my oldest customers at the station. We enjoyed many conversations covering everything under the sun since we first met in 1976. He was a great guy and a pleasure to help out through out the years. I've missed our talks since he moved, but I will always remember his smile! Rest in Peace my friend!!

Dear Tim, Cathy and Family: We were so sorry to learn of Uncle Bill's passing. He was a very nice man and so knowledgeable about so many things...I had a great discussion with him about coin collecting many years ago that I still fondly recall. He was always a pleasure to talk to. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Mary Anne (DiNardo) and Steve Hornyak
