Alberta Louise Milam

Alberta Louise (Santucci) Milam, 70, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 with her family by her side in Columbus, OH.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 4:00-8:00pm at Blessed Sacrament Church Sargus Hall 852 Main Street, Wintersville, OH 43953.

Alberta was born April 27, 1947 in Steubenville, Ohio.  She was the daughter of the late Daniel Anthony Santucci and Margaret Francis (Paccina) Santucci. 

Alberta was a proud 1965 graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School. 

She was retired which gave Alberta plenty of time to do her favorite things: read her books and spend time with her family and friends.  Alberta was active in the Wintersville community and contributed to many civic causes while raising 4 children.  After moving to Pickerington, OH, Alberta continued to touch the lives of many new friends and extended family in Central Ohio. Alberta loved entertaining in her home, everyone was always made to feel welcome with big Italian meals, great conversation and lots of laughter.  She will be remembered for the wisdom she passed on to so many.  Her gratitude, acceptance of others, and unconditional love for family and friends will live on forever.    

Alberta is survived by her four children: Robert Milam of Steubenville, OH, Lisa (Milam) Lomonico and her husband Craig of Pickerington, OH, Christen Milam of Pickerington, OH, and Carol (Milam) Scurti and her husband Evan of Steubenville, OH; three grandchildren: Gabrielle and Megan Milam Columbus, OH and Gianna Lomonico of Pickerington, OH.

Also surviving are her sister Dorrienne (Santucci) Lewis and her husband Scott; four nieces and nephews: Michelle (Lewis) Manalac and her husband Steve of Pickerington, OH, Cindy (Lewis) Morello and her husband Joe of El Cajon, CA, Scott Lewis Jr. and his wife Rebecca of Steubenville, OH, and Daniel Lewis and his wife Shauna of Wintersville, OH; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and 7 great-great nieces and nephews.  Plus, two grand-dogs: Jenkins and Oliver.

In addition to her parents, Alberta was preceded in death by her sister, Doloris Santucci.
