Carl J. Gyarmaty

Carl J. Gyarmaty, 88, of Steubenville died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Trinity West. He was born January 23, 1929 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Carl and Anna Pipo Gyarmaty.

Carl is a member of Triumph of the Cross Parrish. He was a graduate of CCHS class of 1947. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Carl was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked as a Lab Technician for 45 years.

Surviving are his wife Rita Moziejko Gyarmaty, whom he married September 10, 1955, two sons Tim of Steubenville and Carl of Fort Myers, FL.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Monday at 12:30 pm at Holy Rosary Church, Fr. Ryan Grey will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
