Clara Krovocheck

Clara Krovocheck, 81, of Steubenville died Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born in Secinaro, L’Aquila Abruzzo, Italy. She is the daughter of the late Edolo and Angelina Mucci Caranfa. Also preceding her in death are her husband Sam Krovocheck; son Timo Krovocheck and son in law John Otto.

Clara was the owner and operator of the former Clairmar Dry Cleaners for many years. Clara was also known to be an avid Steeler fan. She was a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church.   

Surviving are two daughters Marisa (Tim) Bartemes of Steubenville and Clarice Otto of Bloomingdale; two brothers Dominic Caranfa of Lubbock, TX and Joseph (Vicky) Caranfa of Bellevue, OH; one sister Linda (Lee) Durbin of Steubenville; daughter in law Laura Krovocheck of Milford, MA; four grandchildren Niko and Luca Otto and Sam and Gianna Krovocheck.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home, Fr. Stefan Doric will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Resurrection Serbian Cemetery.
