Clara A. Visnic

Clara A. Visnic, 84, of Steubenville died Friday, January 25, 2019 in Pittsburgh. She was born July 9, 1934 in Follansbee, WV. She is the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Debner Isinghood. Also preceding her in death are her husband Stephen Visnic and brother David Isinghood.

Clara had a 40 year career at the former Ohio Valley Hospital, including many years as the Head Nurse of the Emergency Room. Later in life Clara enjoyed line dancing at the Weirton Senior Center. She is also a member of the Holy Resurrection Serbian Orthodox Church.

Surviving are one daughter Lori Visnic of Pittsburgh; two brothers Robert (Polly) Isinghood of TX and Richard (Jean) Isinghood of FL; two sisters JoAnn (Russ) Knowles of IL, Mary (Ralph) Wheaton of WV and sister-in-law Linda Isinghood of SC.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-6 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Also on Saturday from 9 am until time of services at 10 am at the funeral home, Fr. Rade Merrick will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
