Dolores A. Calabrese

Dolores A. Calabrese, 85, went to Heaven on Saturday, October 27,2018. Dolores was residing in Riverside, California and passed peacefully with her family at her side under the care of Cambridge Hospice.

She was born in Steubenville, Ohio to Victor Sr. and Christine Calabrese and was the oldest of 4 children. After High School, she worked at S.S. Kresge stores until they closed and was an active member of St. Peters Church where she sang in the choir for many years.

 She was a crucial part of raising 3 generations of children and known to most as “Aunt Dee” due to the limitless nurturing she provided to all. Dolores will be remembered as a loving, caring and generous woman. Dolores was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, Sister Rita Davis, Brothers Victor (Martha) Jr. and Felix Calabrese. She leaves behind, Mary Ann, Clarence and Christina Loy, Gillian, Patrick, Abbey, Katie and Maddie Leon in California.  Bob Davis and family of Nevada, Bill Davis and family of Arizona, John Davis, Ken Davis ,Dee Paul,  Joe Davis,  Denise Smith, Annette Kerr, Kim Wood, Karen Calabrese and families of Ohio,  Lisa Cassinelli of West Virginia and Chrissy Calabrese of North Carolina. 

Calling hours will be Saturday from 10 am until time of services at Noon at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. Fr. Bradley Greer will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
