Gregory C. "Whip" Lash

Gregory C. "Whip" Lash, 55, of Steubenville died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Trinity West ER. He was born April 25, 1962 in Steubenville. He is the son of Carol Bevilacqua Lash and the late Wallace Lash. Also preceding him in death is his uncle Gregory "Moe" Bevilacqua.

Greg was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1980. Greg was an avid fan of all CCHS sports, also a fan of Pitt, Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers. He also loved to cook.

Surviving are one brother Wally (Jennifer) Lash of Toronto; one sister Carole (Danny) Bell of Steubenville; two nephews Brian Lash and Matt Bell; two nieces Shane Lash and Jordan Beatty; his faithful canine companion Rudy and many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 9:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, Msgr. Gerald Calovini will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
