Helen L. Spanovich

Helen Love (King) Spanovich, 65, of Steubenville died August 19, 2017 at Lifeline Hospital. She was born on September 20, 1951 to the late Lloyd and Claire Love King Achhammer. In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband Merco (Serb) Spanovich, father Lloyd Achhammer and her sister Vicki (Bernie) Skeens.

 Helen graduated from Steubenville High School Class of 1969. She worked over 20 years at Scott Lumber, starting as an office clerk, to sales then as a store manager. She then continued to Lowe’s for 12 years as a receiving clerk.Helen is survived by her long time loving, faithful caretaker & companion Bob Miller; deeply loved son Merco Spanovich; her most precious granddaughter Anna Love Spanovich; special loving daughter Candace (Edward) Cooley; her grandchildren Ryan & Kelsi Corricelli, Lailah(Paul)Spanovich, Mandy(Jason) Petrelle; step mother Donna King; her brothers  Larry(Beckie) King; Ron(Evelyn) King; Chris(Dachia) King; and Jeff King; her sisters  Susan (Paul)Wilson; Alice Humes; Valli King; many loving nieces and nephews;  her step-daughters  Karen Cashioli; Charlotte Christian;  Janie Foust;  Jeanie Spanovich; Patricia Spanovich ; Peggy Grafton; and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

 As per Helen’s wishes, there will no services at this time.  A celebration of life for family & friends will be at a later date.
