Obituary

John J. Fuoco, 83, of Steubenville died Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Trinity West ER. He was born September 6, 1935 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Carmine and Angelina Gallo Fuoco. Also preceding him in death are a brother Frank Fuoco; sisters Connie Fuoco and Mary Silvidi. 

John was retired from the United States Postal Service where he served as the branch manager in Wintersville for many years. He was also a member of the former St. Anthony's Boosters and the former St. Anthony Men's Club. John also served his country in the U.S. Army. 

Surviving are his wife Mary Katherine "Kay" Hazlett Fuoco, whom he married June 26, 1965; one son John C. Fuoco of Steubenville; one daughter Teresa K. (Darrin) Klinko of Brunswick, OH; one sister Ann Wagner of Steubenville; three grandchildren Brooke Lauren Klinko. Carly Jo Holbert, Bradley Fuoco and one great granddaughter Braylin Holbert. 

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Thursday at 7:45 pm.
