So sorry to hear of John's passing. I was a classmate of John at Wintersville High School and graduated with him in 1971. Always enjoyed John's fun loving attitude and he was a great athlete. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

So sorry to hear about John's passing. Since we were seated alphabetically in school I spent many years sitting behind John, Otto then Owen. Great guy with many great high school memories. Such a loss at such an early time. RIP my friend.

Shocked & saddened to learn of John's passing, but remembering him very fondly for good times at Wintersville High and his contributions to our community. John most assuredly was one of a kind... great sense of humor... brought a smile to my face whenever I saw him or heard his voice on the radio. I'll never forget how surprised I was to see his picture in the paper holding that tiny ukulele in those enormous paws! May his spirit Rest In Peace.

So sorry for all you have gone through in such a short time. I know John wasn't ready to leave his wife, sons, and grandchildren. He had more to do! John never stopped amazing me with his humor, wit, talents, and love of IC. He will be sadly missed by hundreds and I will truly miss seeing him at the IC Campus.
