Lauretta Mantos Obituary

Lauretta C. Mantos, 85, of Bloomingdale, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at home. 
She was born July 18, 1932 in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the a late Francis and Daisy Darsic Vogt.
Lauretta is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward and an infant Sonny. 
Lauretta was retired from Trinity Medical center with 25 years of service as the admitting clerk; was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, its CWC and the Wayne Twp. Senior Citizens, and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, class of 1950, where she played the bass drum in the band, and attended the former College of Steubenville. 
Surviving are her husband, Steve Mantos whom she married April 24, 1954; two sons, Marvin (Diana) Mantos of Louisville, OH and Larry (Jude) Mantos of Lanexa, VA; two daughters, Stephanie (Paul) Yates of Bloomingdale and Melanie Mantos of Irmo, SC; one brother, Francis Vogt of MD and two sisters, Donna Fourman of Mesquite, NV and Mildred "Midge" Kaufmann; 10 grandchildren, Nick (Katie), Paul (Angie), Ben, Noelle (Jared), Ashley, Jenna (David), Ben, Ashley, Jerrad, and Allison and 13 great grand children.
Lauretta was known as "Lol" to friends and family and was quick to befriend people she met and she always was eager to play any game, especially cards, scrabble, and dominos. 
Lauretta will greatly missed by her husband, family and friends.
Calling hours are Tuesday 3 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, Fr. Michael Gossett will officiate and burial will private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
