Laurie Davidson Lover

Laurie Davidson Lover, 55, of Steubenville died Sept. 16, 2019, while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC.
She was born Oct. 3, 1963, to Robert F. and the late Donna Evans Davidson.
Survivors include her father; a daughter, Sister Amor de Maria (Octavia L. Lover) of Steubenville; brother, Robert S. Davidson of Canfield; sister, Marian Davidson Ebert of Lisbon; two nieces, a nephew and a great-nephew.
She was an Indian Creek High School graduate, received a bachelor's degree from Kent State University and was a bankruptcy secretary for her sister.
Laurie was a Protestant, worshiping with several area congregations. She loved writing poetry, country music, reading and helping those who were hurting or in need.
Visiting hours will be Monday 5-8 p.m., Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Oratory (former St. Pius X Catholic Church,) 700 Lovers Lane, Steubenville; services, including Mass, at the oratory will be Tuesday,10 a.m.; burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
