Louis P. Tripodi

Louis P. Tripodi, 74, of Steubenville died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1943 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Joseph and Mary Agresta Tripodi. Also preceding him in death is his sister in law Karen Tripodi. 

Louis was the owner and operator of Steubenville Bakery for 50 years. He was a member of Triumph of the Cross Parish and the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity. He was a graduate of Catholic Central High School class of 1961 and The College of Steubenville. Louis was also an avid fan of the New York Giants and Yankees.

Surviving are one brother Joseph Tripodi Jr. of New Philadelphia; three sisters JoAnn (Melvin) Gorsich of Steubenville, Mary Pozzuoli of Smithfield and Dora (John) Foley of Steubenville; two nephews Robert Pozzuoli and Joe Pozzuoli; eight nieces Debbie Jo Tripodi, Danielle Ryan, Julie Tripodi, Melissa Carapellotti, Diane Spohn, Joyce Pozzuoli, Shannon Bednar and Jensine Foley.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:30 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Tom Nau will celebrate. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Tuesday at 7:45 pm.
