Mark R. Walker

Mark R. Walker, 80, of Steubenville died Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Valley Hospice. He was born March 16, 1939 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Virgil and Mary Mosblack Walker. He is also preceded in death by his wife Pearl Reynolds Walker.

Mark was retired from Weirton Steel. He was a graduate of Steubenville High School, class of 1957. Mark was an avid outdoors-man and a member of both Jefferson and Mingo Sportsman's Club. He was also a member of the Weirton Steel 25 year Club.

Surviving are two sons Mark R. (Mary) Walker, Jr. of Steubenville and Kirk A. Walker of Uniontown, PA; one daughter Amy Carducci of Steubenville; one brother Paul (Sandy) Walker of Steubenville; one sister Catherine Doran of Steubenville; four grandchildren Melissa, Tara, Sadie and Alfred; two great grandchildren Seth and Lundyn.

Calling hours will be Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 am at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Fr. Thomas Nau, will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
