Patrick J. Kennedy

Patrick J. Kennedy, 82, of Steubneville died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 in Sewickley. He was born September 22, 1937 in Chicago. He is the son of the late John and Veronica Strazdas Kennedy.

Patrick was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel where he worked in the Mingo Plant for many years. He is a member of the VFW Weirton and the former Moose Lodge of Steubenville. Patrick also served his country in the Army Reserves.

Surviving are one son Jack (Glenna) Kennedy of Steubenville; one daughter Susan (Mark) Fisher of Steubenville; two sisters Elizabeth (Tom) Ventura of Chicago and Geraldine (Bob) Tracy of Cape Coral, FL; Life time companion and love of his life Ann Vaccaro; four grandchildren Ryan Yoders, Aaron Fisher, Devin Kennedy and Dallas Connor; five great grandchildren Alexis Featherman, Angelina Fisher, Carter Fisher, James Kennedy and Gracie Lyn Kennedy; extended family Patty Goffoli, Mike Goffoli, Lou Ann Tluchowski, Johnny Doyle and Joey Doyle.

Calling hours will be Monday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 1:00 pm at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman will celebrate. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A vigil service will be Monday at 5 pm.
