Perry E. Cunningham

Perry E. Cunningham II, 64, of Steubenville, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Valley Hospice, surrounded by his family. He was born October 21, 1953 in Steubenville. He is the son of the late Perry Sr. and Ruth McCarthy Cunningham. Also preceding him in death is one sister, Patricia Kramer.

Perry retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, was an avid Michigan fan, and a 1972 graduate of Steubenville High School.

Surviving are his wife Marian Januszkiewicz Cunningham, whom he married August 16, 1975; one son Perry E. Cunningham, III and daughter-in-law Pam of Waynesburg, PA; one daughter Christina Cunningham of Columbus, OH; two sisters Sharon Norris of Grand Junction, TN and Susan (Bill) Graham of Steubenville; his two grandchildren, Cooper and Cade; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol and Lou Almonte of Wintersville and Joanie and Mark DeFranco of Wintersville, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dennis Meisner and Dr. John Hyland and the staff of the Teramana Cancer Center, 3rd Floor North at Trinity West, Valley Hospice, and Charity Hospice for the care Perry received. 

Calling hours will be Friday from 3-7 pm at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset, Blvd., where services will also be held Saturday 9:30 am. Msgr. Gerald Calovini will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
