Richard "Rick" W. Blancato, Jr.

Richard “Rick” W. Blancato, Jr., 58, of Austin Lake died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at his home. He was born February 8, 1961 in Steubenville. He is the son of Richard Sr. and Pamela Dasch Blancato.

Richard was an Iron Worker with Local #3. He was a graduate of Steubenville Catholic Central High School 1979. Richard loved to watch his Steelers, Penguins and Ohio State Buckeyes sporting events. He also was an avid Harley Davidson rider.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are one brother Joseph Blancato of Rockledge FL; one sister Diane (Paul) Zawolik of Locust Grove, Virginia; two nephews Paul Zawolik, Anthony Blancato and one niece Brooke Blancato.

Calling hours will be Friday from 10 am until Noon at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville. A committal service will follow at 12:30 pm at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
