Robert F. Riley

Robert Francis Riley, 81, of Steubenville, Ohio, was called home to be with Lord on Wednesday, May 8, 2019.
He was born in Bridgeport, OH, on Oct. 22, 1937, son of the late James A. and Zella (West) Riley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother James Michael Riley and a grandson, Robert Michael Riley.
Robert was retired from Weirton Steel Corp. where he was manager of pensions and employee benefits.  He was a member of the Army reserves and was stationed in Fort Pickett, Virginia.  He is also a graduate of the College of Steubenville with a degree in accounting.   Robert was Catholic by faith and a member of St. Agnes Church.  He was a long-standing member of the Polish Athletic Club.  His hobbies included managing his rental property business and spending time with his family.  
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Louise (Mastros) Riley; two sons: Nicholas (Deena Chappano) Riley of Mingo Jct., Ohio, and Michael (Paula DeSimone) Riley of Steubenville, Ohio; one brother:  Richard (Betty) Riley of Bridgeport; two sisters: Mary Ann (Bill) Paravano of Cleveland, OH and Jean Marie DeGenova of Shadyside, Ohio; and two granddaughters:  Sophia and Katherine Riley.
Friends will be received on Friday from 3-7 p.m. at Mosti Funeral Home, 4435 Sunset Boulevard, Steubenville, Ohio.  A funeral liturgy with Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 204 St. Clair Ave., Mingo Junction Ohio, Fr. James Dunfee will celebrate the service.  A vigil service will be Friday at 6:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Steubenville.
Memorial contributions in memory of Robert may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church kitchen fund.
